Steps to Use the L Squared Hub Content Library

 

Steps to Use the L Squared Hub Content Library:

  1. Access the Content Library:

    • Log into the L Squared Hub with your credentials.
    • Click on the Content Library tab located in the left menu.
  2. Organize Your Content:

    • Inside the Content Library, content is organized into folders similar to file explorers on Windows or Mac.
    • You can create folders to group and organize content.
    • Set up permissions for each folder to manage user access.
  3. Create a New Folder:

    • Click the Create Folder button at the top of the main tab.
    • Name the folder to help organize your content.
  4. Upload and Manage Content:

    • If a user without approval rights uploads content, it appears under the Unapproved Content tab. An admin or a user with approval rights must approve this content before it can be scheduled.
    • You can set an active period for content. Once expired, the content is automatically removed from all displays and appears under the Expired Content tab.
    • Mark unused content as Archived if it’s unlikely to be needed in the future. Archived content is stored under the Archived Content tab and will be automatically deleted after one month.
    • The Deleted Content tab displays all content removed from the Content Library. You can permanently delete content by selecting the Delete Forever option.
  5. Upload Content Using Drag and Drop:

    • Navigate to the folder where you want to upload content.
    • Open your device’s file explorer and select the content you wish to upload.
    • Drag and drop the content into the Content Library.
    • The L Squared Hub will display a list of content ready to upload. Click Upload and wait for the process to complete.
    • Once uploaded, the content will be available in the Content Library for scheduling.
  6. Add Content Using the 'Add New Content' Button:

    • Click the Add New Content button at the top of the Content Library.
    • This button provides three options:
      1. Upload Content: Drag and drop files as explained earlier or select files from your device using the Select Files button.
      2. Create Widget: Use this option to create widgets that integrate with apps like Power BI and social media platforms (covered in another tutorial).
      3. Third Party: Access content stored in cloud services like Google Drive or OneDrive. Select the cloud storage option and click Authorize to grant L Squared permission to access your content.
