Learn how to setup and link the L Squared Publisher to your Powerpoint
Installation
- Login to L Squared Hub.
- Go to “Technical Support” page.
- Click on "L Squared Publisher (Word and PowerPoint)" link.
- Copy the activation key and click the "Download" link. This will download the LSquaredPublisher.zip package on your computer.
- Right click on the downloaded zip file, select “Properties”, and click on “Unblock”.
- Extract the downloaded package and install the app.
Note: If a previous version of L Squared Publisher is already installed, please uninstall that first.
- While installing, it will ask for the activation key. Provide the key you copied in step #4.
- Once the installation is complete, your L Squared Publisher is ready to use.
How to use L Squared Publisher
- Open your PowerPoint or Word file.
- You will notice a new “L Squared” tab there. Go to this tab.
- Clicking on any Publish button, will open the L Squared Hub login window.
You will find following buttons in the ribbon:
- For PowerPoint
- Publish as Static Content.
This will publish the PowerPoint file as static images (1 image per slide) to L Squared Hub.
- Publish as Video.
This will publish the PowerPoint file as video to L Squared Hub.
- Launch L Squared Hub.
This will open L Squared Hub in your default browser.
b. For Word
- Publish to L Squared Hub.
This will publish the PowerPoint file as static images (1 image per slide) to L Squared Hub.
- Launch L Squared Hub.
4. This will open L Squared Hub in your default browser.
5. Though, if the file is not saved yet, L Squared Publisher will ask you to save the file first.
6. Once you are logged in successfully, it will show you the list of folders from your L Squared Hub Content Library.
7. Select the folder where you wish to publish the file.
8. Click on the “Publish" button.
9. Once the file is published to L Squared Hub, it will show the confirmation message in ribbon and popup.
10. If a file with same name already exists in the destination folder, L Squared Publisher will show a message to choose if you want to replace the existing
11. If you choose to replace the existing content, if the content was scheduled, it will get replaced with the new content automatica
12. You can go back to L Squared Hub and verify the published content in the Content Library.
