What are widgets and how to create widgets
The L Squared Hub offers a unique feature called widgets, which allows users to connect the Hub with a variety of applications, enhancing its capabilities significantly. Widgets such as Power BI, Content on Demand, and others can be integrated seamlessly into the Hub, providing powerful tools to elevate your business operations. These widgets are pre-built into the Hub, ready for immediate use. Below are the steps to help you make the most of these widgets:
Steps to Create and Configure Widgets in the L Squared Hub:

Access the Content Library:
- Start by clicking on the "Content Library" within the L Squared Hub.
- Then, click on "Add New Content."

Create a New Widget:
- You will see three options: "Upload Content," "Create Widget," and "Third Party."
- Click on "Create Widget."

Select a Widget:
- On the left side, you will find a list of available widgets.
- Use the search bar at the top to locate the widget you need.
- Some options include Google Calendar, LinkedIn, Live Streaming, News, Power BI, QR Code, Twitter, Weather, and YouTube.
- New widgets are added regularly, so check back frequently for updates.

Configure the Widget:
- After selecting a widget, its settings will appear on the right side of the screen.
- For example, to set up the Weather widget, you can customize its name, city, language, and preferred temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit).
- Configure editing permissions and the active period, then click "Next."

Choose a Template:
- On the "Templates" tab, choose from several display styles according to your preferences.
- Under "Settings," adjust the text color and font to your liking.

Save the Widget:
- Once you’ve customized the widget to your preferences, click "Save."
- The widget will now appear in your Content Library, just like regular content.

Integrate with Other Apps:
- For widgets that integrate with apps like Power BI or social media platforms, log in with your credentials and authorize the L Squared Hub to access your profile.

Schedule the Widget:
- Scheduling a widget is as easy as scheduling regular content.
- Simply select your widget from the Content Library and click "Schedule."
