  2. Contact L Squared Support to register new devices

    • If your account setup requires L Squared to register devices (for example, to add new TV device IDs to the system), contact L Squared Support and request that they register the device IDs for you.
    • Once Support registers the devices, you will be able to assign frame layouts and manage content as usual.

How devices are added (what Support or you will enter)

  • New devices are added by entering:
    • Device MAC address (device ID)
    • Time zone
    • A unique device name
  • The device ID is shown when the media player and screen are connected and powered on.

Recommended steps when replacing screens or swapping devices

  • Replaced screens do not automatically inherit a new MAC address.
  • If switching what’s assigned to a screen, remove any schedules, tags, and content tied to the device first. Deleting or changing a frame can move active schedules into incomplete schedules.
